Kari Presswood-Perlman is a fine artist based in Dallas, Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Art and Design from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
Artist Statement
My work is an exploration of the undercurrents of the life experience, considering themes of identity and transformation. I am inspired by the raw experiences in nature, and I utilize animal forms as metaphorical vessels for the path different facets of the human identity take while pursuing authenticity.
